    DESCRIPTION



    The sandwich panel production line SPL-10M.PVC is a multifunctional line designed to produce composite sandwich panels or GFK panels with various types of skins, including OSB, MgO, MDF, plywood, fiber cement boards, steel sheets, PVC sheets, HPL sheets, fiberglass sheets, and other plastics, paired with different core materials like EPS, XPS boards, foamed PU or PIR boards, mineral wool, and other insulation materials. 

    SPL-10.M.PVC is designed to manufacture to manufacture PVC, HPL, and aluminum sandwich panels used in the door industry.  

    The line consists of:  

    • Portal-type mobile 1-C PUR adhesive extruder SPL-10M; 
    • Motorized automatic conveyor;
    • Four automatic presses;
    • Control cabinet.
    • Glue pump station.

    The SPL-10M adhesive applying portal, featuring a one-component PUR adhesive applicator, is equipped with an electric drive motor for raising and lowering the applicator according to the height of the material stack on the carriage.

    Since polyurethane adhesive (1-component PUR) is humidity reactive, the glue feeding and application systems must be completely sealed to prevent the polyurethane from reacting within the adhesive tract. The adhesive applicator comes with an automatic nozzle shutter tray filled with a plasticizer to avoid the reaction of PUR adhesive inside the nozzles.

    The adhesive applicator consists of multiple small combs (segments) of varying sizes, each equipped with an individual valve controlled by a control system. This setup enables adjustment of the glue application width.

    Standard panels dimensions, mm:  2000 x 3000, 1500 x 3000, 1320 x 3000, 1220 x 2440, 900 x 2000, 800 x 2000. 

    The pump station ensures a high level of adhesive application accuracy. Thanks to precise positioning and automatic control, adhesive waste is minimized. A high-precision dosing pump delivers the exact amount of adhesive needed (with a variance of only ±5g/m²). This system balances differences in adhesive viscosity and allows using one-component polyurethane adhesives from any manufacturer without needing hardware adjustments.



    Sandwich panel production line is equipped with CNC edge-cutting band saw


     Here’s a concise description of the final stage in PVC panel production:


    At the final stage, the edges of the PVC panels are trimmed. A console-type band saw moves in the X and Z axes, working with panels up to 2000 x 3050 mm. The table has a mechanism that rotates the stack towards the saw for trimming.

    Process:

    1. Sandwich panels are assembled on a technological carriage.

    2. This carriage is mounted on a chain conveyor, with the adhesive application unit above.

    3. Once assembled, the stack moves on the carriage via the chain conveyor into the press.

    4. After pressing, a forklift unloads the stack from the press and places it on the band saw’s rotary table for trimming.

    5. The saw trims each side of the stack sequentially.

    6. Trimmed panels are then unloaded from the table.
